Bozeman’s climate is characteristic of a mountain valley location: pleasant summers with warm days and cool nights and winter temperatures fluctuating from mild to cold. The area’s low humidity and abundant sunshine both in summer and winter create an ideal climate for outdoor activities. Summer temperatures can range from 70 to 90 degrees with few days exceeding 90 degrees, and lows in the mid 40s to low 50s. Winter temperatures can range from highs of 30 to 40 degrees and lows from 10 to 20 degrees.
