ERA has developed several tips for moving that you may also find helpful. In addition, I have included a checklist you can print out for help in organizing your efforts. Once the move is underway, I suggest you keep all the papers involved, e.g. receipts and contracts, in a safe and easy-to-access place. This will help make your tax preparation flow more smoothly next year. You will receive settlement papers at closing that you should also keep with your moving documentation.
